PAX Prime Registration Opens Up Next Week

Alright folks I know, I know, it's too far in the future, we need to know our fate, and organize exactly how we're going to attack this convention and whatnot, but fear not in a week's time you can have your hotel, your airfare, and half of your meet ups planned. Registration was suppose to be this week but do to some technical difficulties with a new vendor, Penny Arcade has gone back to the old way of doing things, and you'll be able to seal your fate for the weekend of August 31st through September 2nd. Actually hold off on the hotels it looks like the PAX discounts haven't kicked in quite yet.
Sadly, I will be missing both PAXs this year. So for those going have fun, and have a little extra for me too. For those wondering why I will break my streak of going to this PAX, look no further than the fact that I will probably be becoming a dad right around that time.

I have a feeling someone is going to go thru withdrawal. Or up their DragonCon intake level to help compensate.
We shall see. The thing with Dragon Con is that it is such a broader Convention than PAX, and as long as I don't go in with a PAX mindset I'll be fine, but if I do go in thinking this is just a PAX like convention I'm probably going to become catatonic when I accidentally get on the wrong track.
