To be completely honest that's one of the many reasons that I don't pay as close attention to the news feed in FaceBook as a I used to . The damn thing is so full of severally biased articles of one nature or another that people will rush to post so that they can feel important about being the first of their friends who pollutes everyone's feed.
Now that being said, I think, just like Zealeus states, that with moderation comes understanding. If you post one of those articles maybe once a day or maybe once a week, it shows to the viewing audience that you've more than likely actually taken the time to read the entire article, instead of the opening paragraph, and want people to see what you feel when it comes to a certain topic.

You know what grates my nerves? Politics on Facebook. I don't think it's necessarily politics in of itself- ya'll know I enjoy an argument as much as the next know-it-all. What annoys me is Facebook political posts always seem to be a simplified version of, "Democrats are socialists" or "All Republicans are fascist assholes" statuses in the most condescending, "Isn't it soooooooooooooooo obvious that this Free Republic or Huffington Post is like soooooooo true" voice. They come up just short of outright saying, "If this incredibly biased article doesn't convince you that my political party [the very concept of which I detest in general, but that's a rant for another beer] is the bestest ever and yours is evil, well then you're just a complete dumbass, sir. Yes you are!"
Don't get me wrong (as if I ever am!!!)- if it's just everyone once in a while that politics from somebody gets posted...fine, I get it, I can deal. But when you're posting multiple articles a day with no nuance and an obvious "This party is evil incarnate" axe to grind, well, It just pisses me off and makes me want to punch them in the face. Of course, I prefer not to punch people in the face- I'd probably just break my wrist in the process-, so I take the virtual approach to doing so...I just drop them from my friends list.
