I Finally gave up playing the series at X2, which I have proudly realized was a total waste of my time 2 hours into it. Yes, the Gamer in me will force me to oneday finish it, but for now no thank you!
The only way I will Finally pick this series back up is with the "Next Gen" remake of VII, which I have never actually played!!!

Well it would appear the FINAL Final Fantasy might just be lucky number 13. Which is so interesting. Something tells me though that SquareEnix is going to make games that will feel like FF but just won't have the name attached to it.

Either that or when the company starts to fail, FFXIV to revitalize the company!!

Well actually it would have to be FF XV, as XIV is the MMO that is coming our real soon.

Lets face it. I know that the name Final Fantasy on a box makes it pure gold, but I know I'm not alone in the thinking that perhaps the number convention should just stop, and we can finally have a FINAL Final Fantasy. I've heard they are finally doing a bunch of different 13s so we'll at least get the same world for a change.
Then again even when SquareEnix's most recent games, not named Final Fantasy, have come out, we're left feeling like they just pulled a fast one on us, and its really just an idea for a Final Fantasy game that someone game the thumbs down on, so they went back and changed the name and re-pitched, and a company looking to diversify of course said, "lets make this game"
