Imagine for a moment if you wanted to purchase a $350 computer. However, Best Buy will only sell it to you under the conditions that you buy a $400 gift card it in order to purchase it, leave you with an extra $50 you may or may not ever use. Personally, I think and wish MS (and other consoles) should offer the chance to purchase content for the exact price. However, I don't necessarily think it should be illegal or suable b/c 1) it's an MS product and you should know what you're getting into and 2) there other options, like the PC. If it were the only game in town, I'd get the suer merit. But that's not the case.

This really isn't my rant, but I thought that it would be good to throw out there. So basically there's this guy who is suing Microsoft for fraudulent activities revolving around the fact that you have to buy X amount of points, and you can't just purchase enough points to buy something. So what you're left with is points that go unused, and there's a chance that the next time you want to buy something the leftover points aren't going to be enough to you're going to have to buy another round of points, more than you need.
Has no one ever heard of a gift card, its basically what it is, its a virtual, digital, freaking gift card for yourself, you narcissistic bastard ;) . I really hope that this guy doesn't win, and judging by some of the comments I've seen while reading the article I have to say that some people out there just really like to throw their opinion out there without giving a mature response. Calling someone a "fucking douchebag who doesn't understand basic math" might not be the best way to get your point across without looking like an ass yourself.
Anyways, what are everyone's thoughts on this interesting topic?
