Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Review

Gran Turismo: 5 Prologue...

Oh, how I love you!! Ok, now that I have gotten that out of the way, lets talk about the history of Gran Turismo. Ten years have past since the introduction of G.T. series and in this period of time G.T. has created not only a genre of games, but also become a part of the automotive culture at large.

Now let's discuss the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue the game. First thing that will come to mind once you start the game, is the beauty of game. You know the kind of beauty that makes you just stop in your tracks and say WOW!!! The rendering of the cars, tracks and background scenery is top notch. Another aspect that G.T. has perfected is how to convey the sense of speed to the driver, you really get the feeling that your moving that fast.

The vehicle handling in some racing SIMs make the cars handle like a Mac truck, were as in other games the cars feel too lite and floaty, but not here. If a car is a front wheel drive car it handles like one and vice versa for a rear wheel drive car.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is the first game in the series to have online play. You can race up to 16 people per course, which is a feature that many of us have been waiting for. The online experience is basic, but over all still very fun. There are a few other extras with in the game such as the G.T. channel which I happen to like alot. And a news area as well, so u can get all that up to minute G.T. info.

All I can say is this ( there are a few little glitches I have noticed but ) if Prologue is this good, I can't wait for the full version of the game with all the cars and tracks! If you are a fan of the series or not, I would say it is defiantly worth picking up. Score 8.8 out of 10.
