Up!  What a great movie.  Visually stunning, emotional charged story, cute characters, great animation.  As most of the video games based on movies that I have played Up!  basically met my expectations.  It was cute, childlike, fun, interesting, and well mapped out.  It wasn't amazing however, just fun.  I played this game in tandom with several people and I am glad I did.  It was fun to play with someone else. You traveled around Paradise point as Carl and Russell trying to get to the top of the falls to complete Carl and Ellie's dream and overall life mission.  You of course get to discover and catch butterflies and other wildlife while working together to climb and explore the landscape.  There are also times where you even get to play the part of Dug.

The other characters from the movie of course join you along the way; the talking dogs, Kevin the bird ,etc. They are designed well and the game created funny cut scenes with the characters.  The one thing that is a bit odd is the addition of some characters, mostly bosses, that seem to take the game away from what happened in the movie.

We did discover a small problem with the game.  When playing with two players there was and issue with camera angles.  If two characters got too far apart the camera angle would get jammed and you would have to restart the level to fix it.  There were other times as well that the camera would lock if a character fell right as the camera angle was changing.  That was very frustrating as it happened during the final couple of levels.

Other than that this game was fun.  Good for all ages and fun to play with friends!
